About Us
Juo is a design-led creative company run by talented UK designers Jessamy Kelly and Joanne Mitchell, based at the National Glass Centre, Sunderland.

Juo specialises in the design and manufacture of high quality contemporary fused glassware. We create original art glass panels for interiors; re-invigorating wall art by offering fused glass art as an innovative solution for a design-conscious clientele.

Fused glass is an infinitely versatile material, which can enhance or add a creative signature to any interior. The studio techniques we use enable the production of infinite shapes and colour variations; each piece is handmade by the designers and is individually signed and dated.

We offer dynamic design solutions ranging from stunning limited edition artworks and one off sculptural pieces for contemporary interiors, to corporate wall panels and signage, awards and presentation pieces. We offer a tailored design consultancy and project management as part of our design services. From concept to installation Juo work closely with interior designers and architects on bespoke projects.

The Process
Fusing is the process of bonding and shaping layers of glass (usually in or over a mould) by heating in a kiln. Juo combines artistic glass techniques with a fresh and bold design approach to bring unique products to the market place.
